Dear Campers, Families, and Churches,
After the governor’s announcement this week regarding summer camps, Camp Como has had to make the difficult decision to cancel our summer camp programs. While camp has been developing multiple contingency plans throughout the spring, the recent prohibition on summer camps through the foreseeable future severely limits our ability to offer an exciting, meaningful, and safe camp experience for everyone this summer.
We hope to use this time to continue to improve Camp Como and prepare for a wonderful camp season next year, so please keep in touch and continue to support Camp through prayer and your partnership. If you have any questions regarding our closure or future activities at Camp, please email the office at camp at campcomo.com.
Full refunds for registered campers who have made deposits will be processed as soon as possible. Our prayer is that everyone with a connection and history with the camp and those excited to come this summer are met with a special grace from the Lord during this difficult season.

Our great country has been significantly impacted by the COVID19 virus, and our prayers go out to everyone that has been impacted either through family or friends, or the many heroic first responders and health care workers. We are thankful to those of you who have been on the front lines through this battle. Thank you for the personal sacrifices that you have made.
We have been incredibly blessed with no known cases of COVID19 at Camp Como. We have had few visitors to our camp over the past five months which has improved our chances of staying out of the spread of this contagious virus. We are thankful.
Summer camping season is quickly approaching and we wanted to give everyone an idea of what camping season will look like this year. Barring any unexpected spike in coronavirus infections within Colorado or our Rocky Mountain Region, our plan will be to open up Camp Como on July 1, 2020. This will give our staff time to continue to spruce up our beautiful camp in time for opening, along with providing the necessary sanitizing to provide a clean environment for our campers. Please see the Camps page for a listing of the camps we are currently offering.
We trust this update will provide the information you need to feel safe in registering your children for Summer 2020 at Camp Como.
